Michael D'Onofrio, principal

Michael D'Onofrio has over forty years of experience in the restoration and rehabilitation of historic residences in the Philadelphia-Main Line region. His fine craftsmanship or goût du travail bien fait derives from a family line of European mechanics and artisans. Traveling extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and Central America, he cultivated a discerning eye for scale, color, and texture. Michael is a recognized local expert in diagnosing roofing pathologies and personally oversees all restoration projects.

Mark D'Onofrio, senior associate

Mark D'Onofrio is a preservation planner and an architectural conservator. Educated at the University of Pennsylvania where he received both a Master of Science in Historic Preservation (2010) and a Master of City Planning (2009), Mark studied traditional building materials and techniques, and he evaluated numerous historic buildings and sites in the Philadelphia-metropolitan region, such as Municipal Pier 9 North, Logan Hall, Boathouse Row, and the neighborhood theatres of William Harold Lee. Prior to his studies at Penn, Mark documented Romanesque churches in the Massif Central (France), backpacked solo throughout Eastern Europe and Turkey, and worked as a project manager for Michael D'Onofrio, Inc.
